DNB Carnegie Achieves Historic Sweep in Prospera’s Corporate Finance Rankings Across All Nordic Markets

DNB Carnegie has delivered a historic performance in this year’s Prospera Corporate Finance survey, securing the number one position in every Nordic country and topping the rankings in both M&A and ECM across Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden. No firm has ever held a full set of top rankings across all markets in the history of the survey.

Based on in‑depth interviews with approximately 220 clients across the Nordic region, the Prospera results reflect the trust our clients place in us, awarding DNB Carnegie the highest overall score among all firms and marking the strongest performance by any advisor in the past five years.

Peter Behncke, Global Co‑Head Investment Banking:

“This result is first and foremost a testament to the trust our clients place in us, and we are sincerely thankful for their continued confidence. I also want to extend my deepest appreciation to our team, who consistently puts our clients’ interests first. Being ranked number one across all Nordic markets is an achievement we are truly proud of.”

Johan Flintull, Global Co-Head Investment Banking:

“With DNB Carnegie, we have created an even stronger team with deeper expertise. Achieving the top ranking in all four Nordic countries requires a unified cross‑border team with a shared ambition to always deliver quality to our clients. I am sincerely grateful to our clients for continuing to place their trust in us.”

Jacob Bastholm, Head of DNB Carnegie Denmark:

“Being voted number one again is important to us — especially because this recognition comes directly from our clients. It is a clear acknowledgment of the dedicated work we put in and the high quality our team brings to transactions. This recognition is, of course, very motivating for the entire team.”

Tommi Kaltio, Head of Investment Banking Finland:

“We are grateful to our clients for the trust and confidence they place in us in complex transactions.  I also want to recognise our team for their outstanding work and unwavering commitment to quality. Being ranked number one across the Nordics shows what we can achieve when we are fully aligned with our clients.

Last week, DNB Carnegie was also ranked number one overall in Prospera Nordic Domestic Equity, securing the top position in Sweden, Norway, and Finland, and a strong third place in Denmark. In addition, the 2025 league tables* show that DNB Carnegie has executed more ECM transactions than any other advisor in Europe  and was the investment bank that acted as M&A advisor in the highest number of transactions in the Nordic region further underscoring our leading market position.
